Using meditation and breathing techniques, withheld poses to target muscles, organs and meridians, restoring harmony and balance with our emotions and mental health. This is a slower paced class perfect for beginners or those looking for a more gentle yoga class. Many of the movements are floor based using lots of props - bolsters, blankets and blocks/bricks (all provided) to ensure your body feels comfortable and supported. Poses are held for longer periods so that you can enjoy deeper stretching and relaxing of muscles with the effect of relieving tension. Because of the slower pace of class, the mental benefit to this class is high too. Often students leave saying they feel both mentally and physically reset and refreshed.
