Come and join them to explore a historic delve into the Cliffords of Skipton From the Shepherd Lord to the Lusty Brandons. ...His Grandfather was a Shepherd, his Father was an outlaw. And now he's about to marry the niece of that musician, tyrant and psychopath, King Henry VIII. How has this come about?! Expect music, stories and a goodly helping of audience participation! (Event NOT suitable for children). Dorothy Parkin and The Leeds Waits perform at stately homes and heritage events around the region, and for organisations such as English Heritage and The National Trust. The Waits have performed on radio and television, and also have thirty years experience of playing for historical dance groups. They play authentic music on authentic instruments, always performing in appropriate historical dress. Ticket Price is just £6 and includes your choice of coffee or tea and a brownie bite.
