The Leeds Waits Present - Halloween

Service Description

"Halloween" the day the spirits of the dead can cross into the world of the living. Or, just a day when children you don't know knock on your door and ask for treats?! Either way, join The Leeds Waits at Cafe Yoga at 1pm on November 4th for their latest presentation - Halloween (4 days late according to our modern day calendars or a week early by the old Julian calender). There won't be feasting, drinking, bonfires or lanterns, but there will definitely be macabre tales, music including witches' dances and good coffee! (Event NOT suitable for children). Dorothy Parkin and The Leeds Waits perform at stately homes and heritage events around the region, and for organisations such as English Heritage and The National Trust. The Waits have performed on radio and television, and also have thirty years experience of playing for historical dance groups. They play authentic music on authentic instruments, always performing in appropriate historical dress. Ticket Price is just £7 and includes your choice of coffee or tea and a brownie bite. Please arrive in good time, so that we have time to make your drink before the performance commences!
